Muni shri Kshmasagar ji, the reverent disciple of adorable saint shree Vidyasagar ji is a legend of this century and his life is source of inspiration for entire Jain community.

Born in a religious environment, Kshmasagar ji completed his M. Tech. in Geology from Sagar University and started his religious journey at the age of 23. The first milestone of his religious journey was Chullak Deeksha on january 10, 1980 followed by Aelak Deeksha on november 7, 1980 and Muni Deeksha on august 20, 1982. He was a great saint with sensitive heart and excellent literator. He handled the shifting surfaces of religion and life with extraordinary fineness and delicacy, establishing a perfect correlation between the scientific face of religion and practical face of life to enlighten the path of young minds. His continuous efforts to progress towards betterment of life are reflected with his poem

“I need to step slowly; i can still hear the sound of my walk.”

Though the life is transient and consciousness is immortal still the major loss, occurred on 13 March 2015, is irreplaceable. However, practicing his thoughts and preaching to bring grace to our life would be the best tribute to Gurudev.
